Slip-Sinker Rig: This is the most widely used method of bait fishing, rigging is simple, thread an egg or bank sinker onto your main-line, follow that with a bead if you like, followed by a swivel. Now attach a 36"- 72" leader to the other end of the swivel with a hook at the end. This rig is the most common one used when trolling or anchoring for Stripers, and can be used effectively on Walleyes, Trout, Catfish, etc... with different leader length variations.
3-Way Rig: This is another very popular
rig, especially in river currents. Tie a 3-way swivel to your main-line, tie a 16"-32"
leader on one of the remaining rings with a bank sinker tied to the end. Next
tie a 4"-24" leader on the last ring with your hook on the end of that one.
